My Garden Party Baby Shower:

I love parties and so when my mom offered to throw me a baby shower for baby girl, I was so excited! It was so nice to be able to spend this shower with my mom and sisters since only Melissa was able to attend my first baby shower (it was in Utah).

I love decorating parties and so I couldn’t help myself but to put my touch on the shower. I LOVE fresh flowers. I would decorate with only flowers if I could but since that adds up quickly I decided to have have some main flower arrangements and then accent flowers and other decorations to make my garden party come to life.

I am so thankful that I have such good friends that would come and celebrate baby girl! I loved all the presents and appreciated the advice for baby number 2.

These flowers were so pretty!

These are some of my favorite decorations I have done!

Fruit had been one of my pregnancy cravings...I could have eaten this whole tray!

We also had sandwiches, quinoa salad, and pink lemonade but I forgot to get a picture of that.

Courtney frosted these cupcakes to look like roses and they turned out so cute!

Dane and Adler returned just in time to open presents!

Baby Shower!

Anyone that knows me knows I love to throw parties. So when my cousin announced she was pregnant with a girl I jumped at the opportunity to throw her a shower!

I decided to go with an English Garden theme. I LOVE flowers! Fresh are the best but they can get expensive when planning a party. I saw these letters one day made with real flowers and I knew I could make this the star of the shower. I opted for silk flowers so they could last forever.

One of the things I loved from my shower was having my guests sign books to Adler. We still read the messages everyone left for him and I know Alder will enjoy it one day. I decided to do the same thing for Megan’s shower. We had all the guests sign Chrysanthemum, a book about a girl named after a flower and how she realizes that her name is special.

We served all of Megan’s cravings as refreshments. We filled up on popcorn, fruit, cheese and crackers, granola and sour candies.I also gave out sour watermelons as a party favor.

I hand painted these canvases to add a special touch to the food table.

I love paper bows and what better place to display them then a baby shower!

We are all looking forward to meeting her little girl and this shower only made us that much more excited for her birth day.
